Rep. Gary Miller Announces Exporter Forum in San Bernardino

Washington, Apr 25, 2013 -

Rep. Gary Miller (CA-31) announced this week that his office, in collaboration with the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank), will be holding an Exporter Forum in San Bernardino on Thursday, May 2nd.

The Forum will include an address by Ex-Im Bank Chairman and President Fred P. Hochberg and panel discussions on how local companies can work with the Bank and other government entities to expand their export opportunities. There will also be a networking session so Forum attendees can meet with export development officials to ask questions and learn how they can utilize these critical resources.

Congressman Miller remarked, “To get our economy growing and put more San Bernardino County residents back to work, we need to enhance the competitiveness of American companies in the 21st Century global economy.  The Ex-Im Bank plays a key role in helping businesses in Southern California grow and create good-paying jobs by facilitating the export of hundreds of millions of dollars worth of U.S.-made goods and services, all while returning money each year to the U.S. Treasury.

I would like to thank Chairman Hochberg and the Ex-Im Bank for coming to the Inland Empire for this important forum for job creators seeking to compete in the global marketplace. I look forward to participating in what is sure to be a productive and educational event.”

The Exporter Forum will be held at the Norton Event Center at the San Bernardino International Airport on Thursday, May 2nd from 8:30am to 1:00pm.

There is no cost to attend, however due to limited space registration is required:
