Statement by Congressman Gary Miller on the Death of Muammar Qaddafi

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Gary Miller issued the following statement in response to the announcement of the death of Muammar Qaddfi:
“Today marks a historic moment in the worldwide struggle for freedom as the brutal tyrant responsible for the deaths of thousands of people has finally met his end. While this is a huge victory for the people of Libya, many challenges lie ahead. Now that Qaddafi’s brutal regime is finally over, I hope that the Libyan people reject the extremism and repression of the past as they move towards restoring peace and stability in their nation.”
